Brooklyn-based designer Mitch McEwen is principal of A. Conglomerate and founder of SUPERFRONT, a not-for-profit organization for architectural experimentation and creative interdisciplinary exchange. Since 2008, her cross-disciplinary practice has encompassed architectural curating, exhibition design, performance collaborations, and spatial-political activism, as well as renovation and building design. In 2012, she received an architecture residency fellowship in Stuttgart, Germany and Zagreb, Croatia from the Akademie Schloss Solitude. Her work has been published in ARTnews, Architect, and PIN-UP, among others, and she has most recently taught at the New Jersey Institute of Technology College of Architecture and the Columbia Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation, where she holds a degree in urban design and planning.
