Frances Richard
Frances Richard is the author of two recent collections of poetry: Anarch (Futurepoem, 2012) and The Phonemes (Les Figues Press, 2012), and her book, See Through, was published by Four Way Books in 2003. She has served as editor at the literary journal Fence and is one of the founding associates of Cabinet magazine, where in 2005 she collaborated with Jeffrey Kastner and Sina Najafi to coauthor Odd Lots: Revisiting Gordon Matta-Clark’s “Fake Estates” (Cabinet Books). Her writing on visual art appears in Artforum, Bookforum, The Nation, and BOMB, and in 2006 she was the recipient of a Creative Capital/Warhol Foundation Arts Writers Grant. She currently teaches at the California College of the Arts in San Francisco.
