Join Howland Public Library Head of Youth Services Ginny Figlia for a family reading session featuring a specially curated selection of children’s books. (1 hour)

About Ginny Figlia
Ginny Figlia, Head of Youth Services at the Howland Public Library, has been in charge of all library services to children, teens, and families at the library for 23 years. The Youth Services Section's mission is to promote early and ongoing literacy skills and instill a love of reading in youth of all ages. Programs like Baby & Me, Wee Play Community Project collaborations, story times, summer reading programs, and teen clubs are examples of ongoing library programs. The Howland Public Library, founded in 1872 by General Joseph Howland, provides cultural, educational, and community-minded activities for youth and their families, and collaborates with local agencies and organizations in order to enhance our youth's spirit of community.
