A unified series of eleven new paintings, titled "The Funerary Paintings," completed over the past year and a half will be shown on the second floor. These large paintings, each about six feet high by nearly 16 feet long, fit within shallow niches between support pillasters, creating a closely bound architectural setting for this painting cycle.
