The New Media Collaborative: Spring 2003 with Humanities Bayard Rustin High School. The dynamism of Chelsea's contemporary art scene is brimming with resources for New York City public school students. The New Media Collaborative is a focused extension of the contemporary art and new media projects of Dia Center for the Arts, Eyebeam, and Electronic Arts Intermix. These major Chelsea non-profit institutions are especially dedicated and equipped to provide new media arts resources for secondary school students. The students work with professional teaching artists and collaborate with selected school teachers to develop digital art projects in web design, sound, performance, and video art.
