The Sackler Institute at Dia

Established in 2016, the Sackler Institute supports and promotes the intellectual content of Dia’s core programming. The Sackler Institute, a center without walls, connects public programs, education, research, and scholarship across all of Dia’s sites. From this flexible platform, various avenues of engagement allow visitors to directly experience the work of artists along with the unique public dialogue and learning experiences fostered by Dia.

The Sackler Institute supports the following activities: Artists on Artists Lecture Series, Discussions in Contemporary Culture, Readings in Contemporary Poetry, Community Free Days, DiaTalks, education programming, publications, archival projects, conservation, and research.
