Dia:Beacon requires guided tours for school groups grades K–12. Facilitated by educators, school tours foster student-centered inquiry and active learning through engagement with the collection.
The maximum allowance per group is 40 students, with one chaperone and one guide for every 10 students. Teachers and chaperones must accompany students at all times and are responsible for the group.
All school group tours are offered Monday, Thursday, and Friday and are by appointment only. Reservations must be made at least three weeks in advance, but no more than five months in advance. Confirmation of your reservation is required. Self-guided K-12 tours are not permitted.
Tours must be scheduled online; phone and e-mail requests will not be honored. For more information, please call 845 231 0823 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
