Consider how artists such as Walter De Maria, Dan Flavin, and Sol LeWitt devised simple parameters to realize diverse bodies of work with educator Heather Cotter. (1 hour) 

Heather Cotter
Heather Cotter is an art historian and art educator based in the New York area. She has taught educational programs and led tours for adult audiences at museums including the National Gallery of Art in Washington, DC, Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, and Museum of Modern Art in New York. She currently teaches courses in art history and museum studies at Westchester Community College in Valhalla, New York, and Purchase College, State University of New York. Cotter studied art history at the University of Virginia, Charlottesville, and Sotheby’s Institute of Art, London, and has received master’s degrees in art history and arts in education respectively from Boston University and Harvard University, Cambridge.
