Established in 2001, Dia Art Foundation’s Artists on Artists Lecture Series highlights the work of contemporary artists from the perspective of their colleagues and peers. The Artists on Artists publications feature contemporary artists who share their insights on one Dia artist, adapting their lectures into a range of formats from art-historical essay to theatrical prose. This set of books includes the first six titles in the series: Artists on Hanne Darboven (2016), Artists on Walter De Maria (2017), Artists on Andy Warhol (2018), Artists on Bruce Nauman (2019), Artists on Robert Smithson (2020), and the newest edition Artist on On Kawara (2021) image not included above.
