Dia:Beacon presents Dia Art Foundation’s collection from the 1960’s to the present as well as special exhibitions, new commissions, and public and education programs.
Tours and School Groups
Dia:Beacon offers the following guided tours:
Saturday Public Tours
Dia:Beacon provides guided tours every Saturday at 1 pm. Tours are free with admission. Reservations are not necessary but can be made in person at the admissions desk.
Michael Heizer's NESW Guided Tour
A guided tour through Michael Heizer's North, East, South, West is given at 10:30 am until 11:00am, before the museum opens on the days of operation. To reserve for adults [18+ years], call 845.440.0100 x42 or e-mail: heizer @ diaart.org, provide your last name, the number of attendees [max: 10 guests], and the day of your visit. No confirmation is necessary.
School Groups
Dia:Beacon requires guided Edutours for school groups grades K-12. Facilitated by educational guides, the tours foster student-centered inquiry and active learning though mediated engagement of the collection.
All Edutours are offered Monday, Thursday and Friday and are by appointment only. Reservations must be made at least three weeks in advance, but no more than 5 months in advance. Confirmation of your reservation is required.
The maximum allowance per group is 40 students, with one chaperone and one guide for every 10 students. Teachers and chaperones must accompany students at all times and are responsible for the group.

Guided Tour fee:
$100 for groups of 10 to 25 guests
$200 for groups of 26 to 50 guests
Museum guide fee is to be paid at least two weeks in advance of the visit.
