Groups are welcome to visit Dia Beacon and must not exceed 25 people. Advance reservations are required. For information, please email grouptours@diaart.org.
Advance reservations are required for all adult and student groups. Your health and safety are our top priorities. All visitors must follow current visitor guidelines.
Dia Art Foundation strives to provide group tours to educational or other nonprofit groups regardless of means. Please ask for details when making a reservation.
Adult Tours
Adult and College Guided Tours
Learning at Dia Art Foundation is founded on the idea that art is an active, self-determined experience. Guided tours of Dia Beacon are led by professional art educators and limited to 20 people (masks strongly encouraged). Tours are available during museum open hours and provide a one-hour overview of the galleries.

Adult and College Self-guided Tours
Groups including college and university student groups are welcome to arrange a self-guided visit. A reduced admission rate is available to groups of 10 or more with a maximum of 25 people. Please note, outside lecturing is not permitted.

K-12 School Tours
School groups K—12 are welcome at Dia Beacon. Groups must not exceed 20 students. One chaperone for every ten students is required. Teachers and chaperones must accompany students at all times. A Dia Museum educator will lead a one-hour guided tour for groups of ten students (masks required). Self-guided visits are not permitted for K—12 schools.

Virtual Tours
Dia welcomes adult and university groups for engaging, online discussions led by museum educators. Virtual engagements at Dia Beacon offer a conversational introduction to the museum experience. Facilitated by museum educators, these interactive conversations prioritize experiential and shared knowledge and provide entry points to learn more about the institution and its collection.
Collection Highlights Virtual Tour
This tour offers an overview about Dia’s collection of art from the 1960s to the present as well as its constellation of locations and sites, nationally and internationally.

Virtual K–12 School Group Tours
Dia welcomes K–12 school groups to explore Dia Beacon and experience learner-centered online engagements, which are facilitated by artists in the roles of educators. Virtual tours can be designed in response to course content or specific themes.
