Designed for all ages, Saturday Studio is a family friendly program that is most suitable for children ages 5 and up. All families participating in the Saturday Studio program receive free admission to Dia:Beacon for the day. Saturday Studio begins promptly at 10:30 am on the second Saturday of every month. Reservations are not required; however, space is limited, and participants are admitted on a first-come, first-served basis. The sign-up process begins in the admissions area at 10 am. No reservations required. Robert Storr received a BA from Swarthmore College, Pennsylvania, in 1972 and an MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 1978. He was curator and then senior curator in the department of painting and sculpture at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City from 1990 to 2002, where he organized exhibitions including the Robert Ryman retrospective (1993­–94) and Modern Art Despite Modernism (2000). In 2002 he was named the first Rosalie Solow Professor of Modern Art at the Institute of Fine Arts, New York University. He has been a contributing editor at Art in America since 1981 and has written numerous articles, books, and catalogues.
